As you may have heard, chiropractic clinics are able to begin seeing patients. Our regulatory college has worked with Alberta Health to develop a strict set of guidelines for infection control that we are adhering to.
When you come in, you will notice that things are different due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. We have some changes to procedure outlined below:
Shorter visits. Not every chiropractor spends as much time as we do with our patients; there is a reason we do this. However, research has shown that the COVID-19 virus is most likely to spread when physical distancing of 2 meters cannot be maintained for a period of 15 minutes or longer. As such, we will work hard to get patients in and out, keeping pre- and post- treatment chatting to a minimum. New complaints or multiple injuries will have to be treated in separate visits.
Introduction of Telehealth options. If you have a new complaint, or if you need to catch your chiropractor up on anything going on with your health, you can schedule a call with your chiropractor prior to your in-person visit. This allows us to ensure thorough care while maintaining physical distancing.
Increased COVID-19 screening. You will be asked the same series of questions when you book your appointment and upon your arrival at the clinic.
Increased sanitation and cleaning in common areas and treatment rooms.
To help decrease the spread, we encourage you to do two things. First, download the AB Trace Together app, which will make sure you are quickly notified about potential exposures. You can read about and download the app here. Second, please wear a mask to your appointment. Neither of the above suggestions is required to access care, but both are helpful measures to contain the spread of the virus.
The above changes may take some time to get used to, but we are making them because the health of our patients and staff is our top priority.
1.For a Chiropractic appointment you can come right on into the clinic. Wait in the car for your appointment if you are coming in for Massage, Acupuncture & Naturopath. Give us a call at 780-986-0566 to let us know when you have arrived, when we are ready we will let you know when to come on in.
2.Wear a mask when coming into the clinic as well as during treatment.
3.When you enter the clinic please use hand sanitizer.

Fever,
New or changed chronic cough,
Sore throat that is not related to a known or preexisting condition,
Runny nose that is not related to a known or preexisting condition,
Nasal congestion that is not related to a known or preexisting condition,
Shortness of breath that is not related to a known or preexisting condition,
Travelled internationally in the last 14 days,
Had close contact with individuals with a confirmed case of COVID 19.
